DIGITAL PRINTING AT A GLANCE

Economical short-run color is now possible without sacrificing quality. Digital printing eliminates the conventional steps between prepress and press. Graphic files prepared on a desktop computer are sent directly to a digital press without plates or extensive make-readies, or the associated time and expense. THE BENEFITS OF DIGITAL PRINTING

Professional quality short-run color. ANRO’s color digital presses use ink, not toner, to produce quality that is closer to conventional offset printing than ever before.

Personalized pieces. ANRO’s variable data capabilities enable you to design mailers and collateral with personalized messages and images to target niches as small as one individual. This in turn greatly increases the relevance of your marketing communications, and consequently improves audience retention and response.

Faster, cheaper alterations. Because materials can be printed without the make-ready costs associated with conventional offset printing, alterations are faster and less costly.

ANRO’S DIGITAL PRESSES

All of ANRO’s digital printing systems are equipped with the industry’s best technology, including variable data capabilities.

For color digital printing, ANRO has four HP Indigo digital presses, each with six-color capacity. ANRO’s digital presses offer you the full spectrum of color options, including PMS and corporate spot colors. HP Indigo presses use liquid ink, which is more scratch-resistant and produces a dense, rich color that is superior to toner-based digital presses. The result is a more vibrant, durable printed piece comparable in quality to conventionally printed pieces.

ANRO’s color digital presses are also equipped with inline spot and flood matte coating capabilities. This feature can be used for sophisticated tone-on-tone or subtle highlights within your design.

High-speed black and white digital printing is also available with ANRO’s three Xerox Nuvera publishing systems. Their capabilities include MICR for printing magnetic barcodes, and in-line collation and binding.

WHAT IS VARIABLE DATA PRINTING?

Variable data printing enables one-to-one marketing with printed materials. Using a single document designed as a template, variable elements – text, graphics or images – within the document are tailored to each recipient. The appropriate image or wording for each member of the target audience is identified in a database. When married to the design template, this results in a printed piece unique to each recipient.

Variable data printing increases both the relevancy and impact of direct marketing and other communication programs.

Much more than just names and addresses can be varied. Pictures, coupons, the type and value of an offer, single words or entire paragraphs, fonts, colors, and graphics can all be customized according to an individual’s demographics, purchase history, market or any other relevant criteria you have captured. Each piece looks like it was printed specifically for the recipient – because it was!
