GETTING STARTED
Every dimensional project is unique. Whether you’re printing product packaging, point-of-purchase displays, or anything in between, your project will have its own look, its own identity, and its own challenges. ANRO can help.
Our in-house packaging design team will work with you to determine the best package or dimensional design for your project. We can provide you with standard design templates, work with your existing design, or develop new templates.
Involving ANRO early in the concept and design stages can help eliminate costly changes that are often necessary once your design hits production. It’s much less expensive and time-consuming to correct structural design issues before the design is finalized.
That’s where ANRO comes in. It’s our job to worry about the structural design – the position and size of glue tabs, for example, or how much extra panel space is needed for folding. It’s your job to create the content. Working together from the beginning ensures the two aspects of the project come together seamlessly.
A SAMPLE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS
Once your design is finalized, we use computer-aided design (CAD) software and equipment to transform it into a three-dimensional prototype. You can see and feel an actual sample of your finished piece.
Prototypes allow you to fully assess the viability of your design before you go to production. They can be examined and even used in trial applications to confirm their functionality and structural integrity before committing to production volumes. This is much more cost-effective than producing trial runs, which incur the same significant setup costs as full production runs.
VIRTUAL PROTOTYPES
In addition to physical prototypes, you can view a three-dimensional image of your design – complete with graphics – on your own computer. Using these electronic foldup dummies, you can see what the piece will look like from any angle and at any stage of assembly, from a flat die-cut template to a completely converted piece, and any stage in between.
CONSISTENT DESIGN AND PRODUCTION
Once you approve the prototype, the CAD file used to create it is converted to an electronic die line, which you can use as the graphics template. Together, the template and prototype give you an accurate picture of the size and shape of the final piece, eliminating the preproduction unknowns usually inherent in package design.
The same CAD file is then used to make the die for the piece. It’s ready to go when we receive your final artwork; production can begin immediately. Using the same file to generate the prototype, graphics template, and die eliminates design errors and ensures the accuracy of the final piece.
Take advantage of ANRO resources to simplify your package design process. Whether for large-scale consumer product packaging or small promotional campaigns, you’ll save both time and money.
