Community Awareness
A community is more than just a collection of individuals. Community means friends, neighbors, coworkers and family. It's where we live, work, and raise our children. ANRO strongly believes in supporting our community, and encourages its employees to do the same. Quality of life is largely determined by the values of a community. We take the responsibility to lead by example very seriously. By investing our time and money in the community, we are investing in all of our futures. We bring the same level of teamwork and excellence to our community programs as we do to your projects.
ANRO invests in community organizations and events, and a wide variety of charities. We regularly provide pro bono services for and sponsorships of charities throughout the Delaware Valley, including: the Community Outreach Program; local hospitals, fire companies and religious organizations; March of Dimes, American Red Cross, Surrey Services for Seniors; Bryn Mawr Hospital's Devon Horse Show; Main Line Bank's Christmas in July food drive; and the National Breast Cancer Coalition.
Crime and Drug Prevention
ANRO is dedicated to educating children about Crime and Drug Prevention. A continuing project is the design, printing and distribution of Crime and Drug Prevention Coloring Books that are made available, free of charge, to police departments and schools throughout the Delaware Valley. To date, over 50,000 books have been distributed.
ANRO has been awarded many accolades for our efforts. ANRO founders Angelo and Rose Rossi have been recognized for their many contributions to crime prevention at both the state and local levels, thereby helping to make the community a safer place to live. ANRO is a 3 time winner of The Pennsylvania Crime Prevention Business of the Year Award. This award is given to a business that promotes the participation and cooperation of its citizens, businesses and governmental agencies in crime prevention. For many years, ANRO has strongly supported the Easttown Township Neighborhood Watch Association. Our involvement has included the donation of free materials and labor.
Our Employees Follow Our Lead
ANRO stresses the importance of being a good corporate citizen and encourages its employees to do the same. We are proud of our employees' dedication and willingness to spend time helping others in their communities. Each individual employee who volunteers as a little league coach, acts as a collection point for a food drive, tutors underprivileged children, or gives back to our community in some other way is not only improving others' lives, but also their own.
Each holiday season, many ANRO employees participate in food drives for needy families in the area. ANRO employees also collect toys to be given to underprivileged children. Our employees also participate in the American Red Cross blood drive -- ANRO facilities are provided as a blood drive location.
After more than 50 years of serving the Delaware Valley, ANRO and its employees have established strong roots in the community.
